Why SlipAngle
Poor Integration Execution is The Primary Driver for Deals Failing
“2023 analysis by Bain & Company found that 83% of practitioners involved in failed deals cited poor integrationas the primary cause. Among the top contributors to failure were the inability to retain key talent, misaligned or siloed integration teams, and the failure to realize anticipated revenue synergies.” https://www.forbes.com/sites/vibhasratanjee/2025/04/01/ma-success-rate-rises-to-70-but-firms-must-navigate-7-essential-missteps/
70%-75% of M&A Transactions Fail To Recognize Intended outcomes

Brian is a strategy and operations leader with 15+ years of experience driving growth through M&A, strategy, and operational execution. He has led 35+ full lifecycle acquisitions totaling $5B+ in enterprise value and directed 60+ post-merger integrations across fintech, SaaS, and professional services. Brian has built corporate development and enterprise strategy functions from the ground up, scaling a previous organization from $150M to $450M in less than two years, and advised CEOs, Boards, and private equity sponsors on growth and value creation. He is the Founder of SlipAngle, building the first end-to-end M&A execution platform for modern deal teams.
While running a programmatic M&A function at the fastest growing accounting and professional services firm in the country, the system broke. Integration resources were overworked, planning how to stack 4-5 deals on top of each other at a time was getting messy, and some synergy goals began to slip through the cracks. SlipAngle was created to solve these problems and enable everyone from first-time Integration Managers to M&A Veterans to manage the three most difficult parts of integrations that lead 70% of deals to fail.
